Synopsis

On the day of the sports festival, Tomoko talks about a manga magazine of her brother's where the protagonist work extremely hard and everyone recognized his determination, which apparently bugs Tomoko for some reason.

Later, Yū Naruse places first in the girl's scavenger hunt as the item she was supposed to find was glasses. During the boy's scavenger hunt a boy comes up to the three girls and says he needs a female classmate, asking for Yuu to come with him. Kotomi and Tomoko are completely ignored.

During the caterpillar race Tomoko almost places third place, while Kotomi places first. Yuu congratulates them both and Kotomi realizes that whether you win or lose, everyone says the same thing.

The female relay race is announced and Yuu asks if Tomoko is in it, to which Tomoko replies she was taken off after never practicing after school.
