Synopsis[]
It is summer and Tomoko notices some of the girls’ underwear showing through their uniform shirts, which makes her self conscious about wearing a tank top underneath hers. She notes that her mom buys all of her underwear. She recalls the "really cute" panties of the girl she peeked at in the previous chapter and ruefully concludes that she has the "lamest" panties. She decides that in order to get a boyfriend and make friends, she needs to get cute panties. Not knowing where to buy them, she contacts Yū who agrees to go shopping with her the next day after a humorous misunderstanding that occurs when Tomoko asks her what panties she wears!
The next day at the underwear store, Yū picks a pair of panties for her. During this, Tomoko takes the opportunity to fantasize about what it must be like to be the boyfriend of a girl like Yū who wears short skirts and her panties. Out loud, she states she is "getting turned on" which confuses Yū.
Once home Tomoko admires the underwear, but she quickly hides it in her school uniform skirt pocket when Tomoki bursts into her room asking about the rāmen missing from his room.
The next day at school, Tomoko regrets having lost her panties. When it becomes warm, Tomoko pulls out what she believes is her handkerchief and wipes her face with it. As she finishes, she realizes the handkerchief is her lost panties, and she becomes embarrassed when the boy sitting in front of her notices and whispers to the girl next to her about her.
They both turn and stare at her sweating.
Later, Tomoko goes to the bathroom and rips up her panties in a rage. The narration indicates that "Mokocchi" has gone insane.
