Synopsis

Bonus (おまけ・omake)

With a view of the outside of the hotel, the side narration reads: "Preparatory Summer Camp Day 4 Evening." Tomoko walks through a curtain marked "Women (女・onna)." As she walks down a hallway, she thinks, "As expected, it's 11 o'clock and there's no one." She recalls a chibi conversation with Yū where she happily suggests that since it is the last night, they should share a bath because they have not spoken much during the Summer Camp. Yū quickly agrees and asks what time. Tomoko suggests that since it closes at 12, it should be empty before then and quickly concludes that they will be alone.

Shown: "A Cunning Plan!"

Covered with a towel, Tomoko walks into the bath to see the back of what appears to be Yū. With a sly look, Tomoko moves towards her thinking that bathing with her alone, "this is more soap than hot spring," as she embraces her from behind. As she thinks that she wants her to cure her of all of the things she has studied, Tomoko exclaims, "Yū-chan, sorry for the wait!" As she gropes, Tomoko is first surprised by the size of Yū's "raw milk bowls,"

then is horrified to realize that she is fondling Uchi who is similarly stunned with a new expression and inwardly repeating "kimo (キモ)" as she blushes and shivers. "Geeeeeee! This is Emoji!" Tomoko screams inwardly.

As she continues her tight embrace, which presses her own "raw milk bowls" against Uchi's back, and the blushing and stunned Uchi inwardly perseverates "kimo," Tomoko realizes that she is "petting" "Emoji" with all of her might. She fears that Uchi will declare her "absolutely disgusting (絶対キモい・zettai kimoi)," and wonders how she can weasel her way out of the situation.

For her part, a blushing Uchi stares ahead with her eyes wide open. She recalls a Chibi Kayo saying that one says "キモい" when one feels sick and a Chibi Katō pleasantly advising her not to say that a person makes her feel sick.

Emiri starts to utter "キ . . . きも . . ." to Tomoko's surprise.

Emiri then screams, "FEELS GOOD (気持ちいい・kimochiii)!!!" to Tomoko's utter shock.

In the lockers, a changing Yū is surprised to hear "feels good!"

Afterwards (あとがき・atogaki)

The narration reads, "I went to research the Preparatory School Camp." The bespectacled Author of the team sits at his computer in December, 2019 wondering if the Preparatory School Camp happens at a hotel or dormitory. The location is censored in the Japanese Original, but he does say it is close. After a scene on a train, he registers at the hotel while saying he has a reservation for two nights under his real name which is also censored. Looking at a list of events, he muses that the police are also having a year-end party. He goes to a meeting room and tries to listen at the door. However, the hotel manager walks by. The Author quickly turns and walks away then notices that the ceilings have cameras. Lying in his bed, he thinks about how suspicious he appears coming alone. Utlimately, he stayed for two days.

• "How are You 気持ちいい? Let Me Count the Ways": In Chapter 156, Kayo scolded Uchi about calling Tomoko "disgusting." When Uchi finally tries to apologize to Tomoko in Chapter 161, she becomes involved in an argument with Asuka over her use of the word as explained in that chapter's discussion. Briefly, she insists that Tomoko also makes her feel good.
• "Memories": Uchi lamented that she needed to "make memories" with Tomoko earlier that morning. Well, Uchi. . . .
• "She's smaller than I expected": Tomoko admits in Chapter 155 to groping Yū's boobs like she seemingly did in Chapter 143.

Cultural References

• Bathing in Japan: as many references explain , one gets clean first, then enters a warm bath.
• "Soap?": Tomoko's curious phrase, "this is more soap than hot spring," appears a salacious reference to a traditional brothel practice to get around the Post-WWII anti-prostitution laws. "Turkish baths (トルコ/トルコ風呂・toruko/torukoburo)" would offer massage and bathing for a price that covered all of the other "stuff." After a protest from a Turkish citizen, there was a contest to rename the places and "Soap Land" (ソープランド・sōpurando) was chosen. Trivia

• When groped, Uchi's HU appears a salacious reference to the practice of what were called "Turkish baths ()," then changed to "Soapland ()" after complaints from a Turkish man, to get around the anti-prostitution laws. Customers technically paid for a massage and bath. This is all explained in this very good historical video: GE Tastefully Proportioned Tracts of Land make the sound "biku (びく)."
